Richard became a follower of Christ at 21 years of age, while attending UT-Arlington.  It was there that he met a young woman, Hollie, who would become his wife almost six years later.  They now have a family of three - two daughters and a son - and a miniature daschund.

 

Hollie grew up knowing God with her parents serving as pastors and filling many roles in the church her grandparents pioneered and pastored for fifty years.  Richard, by contrast, grew up just a 'normal' guy until finding his world rocked by the reality of God.  They served in several areas of Grace Temple Church as worship leaders, youth worship leaders, youth leadership team members and college & career leaders.

 

Anyone venturing into a Youth gathering will quickly find out that Richard is not a conventional guy.  Somethings are impossible to explain, though, and can only be understood by experience.  So... if you are in 7th through 12th grade stop by on a Sunday morning or a Wednesday night and see for yourself.

 

They have been serving the youth of New Beginnings Church since March 2008.
